cheapest ebooks to buy online?

Posted: January 12, 2011 in Uncategorized

what is the cheapest way to download ebooks for your nook, kindle, ipad or galaxy ereader? Personally i use many different ways to gain access to ebooks on the internet, however the best two i have found for downloading books to my ereader are as follows;

1- Scribd Publishers service
2- Kindle Ebooks Online

The first is a publishers website which allows anyone to publish their books and works online free of charge(cheapest), the site s full of well known titles aswell as small time publishers works. The biggest problem i find with downloading books to my kindle from here is many of the books are incomplete and full of mistakes. Often i find brand new books just released here but they are not published by the original author so there can be copyright considerations when using the service. These newer books are often put up by hackers to get spyware and viruses onto your computer. by far the cheapest ebooks but be-aware.

The Second is a brand new service i found recently that says it has an online library of over 40,000 ebooks its not a free service like scribd but does not suffer the same copyright and virus problems you get with Scribd. I just signed up to their new service for just $19.99 half price for a limited time and i have to say i have never had so much access to so many books.
I go by category adn download book after book because even if i dont enjoy the book when reading i can delete it safe in the knowledge it was one of the cheapest books i have broght 🙂

Please go to the site and have a look at whats on offer. It also come with a 30 day moneyback guarantee which i havent even thought about using.

The iPad is one of the freshest and most popular new consumer gadgets of the moment, it was designed and built by apple and comes with apples own operating system. The Device can run any application from the apple store as-well as being a media centre, internet access point and mostly a great looking gadget. On top of this the iPad also offers the ability to replace conventional paper books using a easy to read screen. The problem has always been where to get these electronic books?
The simple answer is Ebooks for iPad, which is a online service that allows limitless downloads of digital ebooks from a massive library of over 40,000 titles.

1.What is Ebooks for iPad?

In a nutshell EFI is simply access to a online library of titles, being an online library it can be accessed from anywhere in the world even when your on your holidays and need more reading material.
The service costs at present $39.99 which allows access to the online library and allows users to browse and select any book from the ebook library. This cost is not a recurring subscription either, it is a one off fee and this grants A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to the user.
The library is regularly updated and new titles and recent bestsellers are included in the membership. All the books on the site also have the owners permission to be published so there are no issues around copyright or legality with this service.

2. What types of ebooks are available for download?

The online library consists of many genres including both fiction and non fiction novels, the ebooks in the library can be browsed by genre, author, title or even new titles. So if your looking for books by a particular author it is easy to find. Likewise the browse by genre is a great feature that allows fans to search ebooks only in their favourite categories.

3. Is Ebooks for ipad simple to use?

The interface is simple clean and allows users of all ages to quickly and easily start searching and downloading within minuets. Ebooks for iPad are aware that gadgets like these are popular with all generations so having a simple, and easy to master interface is key to attracting all ages of users not just the younger iPad users.

I’ve had my kindle for around a year now and it is by a long way my favourite gadget, in terms of a multifunction consumer device its hard to beat. I take it everywhere with me including on the train everyday to work and when I go on holiday on the plane.

The one and only fault I have come across is getting content and media for my device. I currently use 2 main solutions to get access to unlimited ebook downloads for my kindle.

1 – Scribd – this is a great site it is free for everyone including authors. It allows any user to share or download any digital book. Users get unlimited ebook downloads just for signing up. However, there is a minus to using scribd. One is that many books are published that do not have the owners permission so some of the content is illegal and copyrighted. The worst part is that because any user can upload any digital book and because of this the site is full of spyware and viruses and this is mostly in the popular newer books. All in all a great site and a little searching there will reveal many gems.

2 – Kindle Ebooks – a relatively new site I have only been a member since November but the service is unrivalled. Kindle ebooks basically allow members unlimited access to a library of over 40,000 titles online. And the $39 membership fee is not monthly or even yearly but a lifetime subscription to get unlimited ebook downloads. I go on the site browse by genre ro go straight to the new releases section or my favourite is the popular section.

I used to have problems finding books online to download and I could never pay amazon or apple ibooks $10-$20 a time for ebooks. Or you can do what I do and get yourself unlimited access to digital books and media online from the two sites above.

Im not the biggest gadget fan but i have recently brought the new Kindle eReader,  In my opinion it is one of the best consumer gadgets for years and the freedom it allows me to travel with hundreds of books without having to carry humdreds of books just blew me away.

The Biggest problem i had was finding quality books to download for my Kindle, I went down the route of looking for Authors and Publishers online and downloading books directly from the authors and would often get free books and downloads from these types of site. I also used to buy a lot of books off amazon but with the majority costing around $10 it doesnt take long for a book fan to spend a fortune.

I found a solution to this issue tho, A friend recommended a site to me where i just payed a one off fee then i got access to a library of over 40,000 books and novels. I was skeptical but after the recommendation from a good friend i thought it was worth a gamble.

I signed up and i got a lifetime membership it cost me $49.95 and i payed with paypal. I received my user-name and password instantly and started browsing. What i found was a wealth of books which can be viewed by author genre or the most popular.  I have been going through the site collecting a lot of books i have always wanted to read, so now i have a library of books on my kindle ready for the next train journey, holiday or day off. I did find the newest bestsellers do not show up on the day of release but for the price this service beats all others.

I cant recommend this service enough if your like me and enjoy reading.see the link below for more info

I was brought a new nook a few months ago and as a useful piece of technology i cannot fault it, It has changed the way i read books forever. I used to have a huge problem getting enough ebooks to put on my nook.

While there are plenty of places to buy individual books and even download free ebooks from authors all over the internet but paying $10 a time from the likes of amazon or apple doesnt strike me as fair considering i view i am helping the planet but not having the paper version of the book. And to search for the individual authors find their site then get the ebook can be very time consuming.

A few weeks ago i found this website which promised to give unlimited ebook downloads and was nook compatible, I was a bit skeptical and did a little research i found that they are a good reputable company and are verified by paypal and clickbank. I did some more research and found that this same site had over 40,000 books.

I decided to sign up and see if it was as good as i heard, and with the confidence of the service being backed by paypal and clickbank i had nothing to loose. After paying via paypal i recieved an email with my user-name and password via email and went straight to the site and logged in.

What i found was an enormous library of ebooks which i was able to arrange by author, genre, popular, new books and bestsellers. Like the site described i had unlimited access and could download all the books i wanted. Going through my favorite genre grabbing any book i had ever wanted to read.

I have to say i am very happy with the service and it has saved me hundreds of dollars already, and as new content is added on the site i am free to continue downloading. Whats best is that it isn’t a limited subscription you sign up and your a member for life.

I brought my Apple iPad in September 2010 and was very impressed with it both as a piece of technology and as a fashionable accessory, and loved the fact I could store hundreds of books on it yet it is no bigger than a normal book.

I did however come across a problem which was finding quality content and ebooks to download to my iPad, My friend recommended a service to me called “The Novel Network” where he said I could download all the books, papers, novels and more.

I was naturally sceptical as I have been paying between $10-$20 dollars a time per eBook buying them directly from apple, this did not suit me as I can easily read a book a week and instead of saving myself money using a iPad instead of a paper book, which is why I brought my iPad.

So I took gamble and signed up to The Novel Network, it cost me £49.95 and from the second I gained access it has become one of the best purchases I have ever made. Instead of paying every time a new books is released I now simply log onto the network and download the book instantly. Its not just books either I have unlimited access to newspapers, novels, anime, bestsellers fiction and non-fiction.

I have already downloaded approx 90 books and newspapers which I am storing on my iPad, and will be download a lot more before my holiday next year where I will be taking my eReader to use for the 10 hour plane journey and for reading in the sun everyday on the beach.

The best part of it all is if I had paid for each book individually I would of paid around $900(if all the books cost only $10 each). So already by signing up to the novel network I have saved (conservatively $850) and that is within just one month of signing up, what’s even better is the fact I save more EVERYTIME I download another eBook. I also now download these books from the network to my Blackberry as well and have no problems with at any time. I love the way I brought the service for one piece of technology yet now I can use it on any mobile phone, computer, work laptop etc etc.

In conclusion, I was skeptical thinking the service was a scam and that the only way of getting quality content would be through apple or Amazon. However, I was more than surprise and I recommend this service to anyone. The more you read the more you will save. The service is legitimate and is one of the best services I have ever signed up to and at just 49.95 I will be a member for a long time to come.

If your like me you have just got a new ipad and you love it, Congratulations there are many people like us. From talking with other ipad owner i came across a common problem. Which was finding enough download-able content for when your not connected to the internet.

I Searched many different solutions to the problem including a site called scribd which allows you to download content in the correct format to your ipad. It allows anyone to publish content so has some brilliant independent writers and novelists, The drawbacks of Scribd is that it has a lot of junk content and pointless articles that dont help anyone. It also has a few viruses and spy-ware hacks being exploited. And my personal Big negative of the site is the Legality as there are a lot of good books posted but they are not always by the authors so may or may not be illegally posted.

I found an even better solution soon after Scribed called The Novel Network, it allows me to download books, comics, daily newspapers and much more and it is 100% legal as you pay a one off fee then this is distributed to the authors with content on the site. The Site has the newest and bestselling books and authors and you can basically download every book you have ever wished to read. I currently have downloaded over 300 books in 3 months i am saving up books for my Charity Trek across Africa later this year.

To Sum up i was blown away with the choice and number of books that could be selected and downloaded directly. It costs me just £49 for a whole year So even if you don’t read as much as me so long as you read more that 3 or 4 books a year this service could save you money too.

I hope you find all the content you need from reading this article
